MEL FISHER'S TREASURES

MEL FISHER'S TREASURES

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026 | 11 AM

 Sponsored by: CareGiversofAmerica

In 1985 Mel Fisher made history by discovering a $450 million dollar shipwreck. His granddaughter, Nichole Johanson, is also a passionate treasure enthusiast herself and strives to carry on the family legacy. As Director of Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum, Nichole has grown the small family business from a hidden gem into a well known cultural treasure destination that is a must see in the historic riverfront business district of Sebastian. She is also one of the founders of the Michael Abt Jr. Have a Heart Foundation which created in loving memory of her brother who passed away in 2006. It is a non profit 501c3 charity whose mission is to prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest in kids by donating AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillators), CPR training, and youth heart screenings to protect the kids in our local community.
