The CMS GUIDE Program
Offered by the Council on Aging Martin County, provides comprehensive support and resources to those with dementia and caregivers in our community. The GUIDE program is open to any patient with dementia who has Medicare as primary insurance (not advantage or supplemental plans). This program is free to patients offers a variety of services, including:
Caregiver Education and Training: Learn essential skills to manage caregiving responsibilities effectively.
Counseling and Support: Receive emotional support and guidance from trained professionals.
Information and Resources: Access valuable information on topics such as healthcare, legal matters, and financial planning.
Free Respite Services
For those who qualify, the CMS GUIDE Program offers free respite services to provide caregivers with a much-needed break. These services can include adult day care, in-home care, or other temporary assistance.
