Halloween Thrillers and Chillers evokes many of the feelings and events of the fall season. As we glide through autumn into winter, the days become shorter, more eerie, and perhaps more macabre.The music will set the mood. Many of these pieces you know well, perhaps not the names, but the tunes. As a perfect example, one selection was the music for The Alfred Hitchcock Show? It’s a famous piece composed by Charles Gounod. Please attend and find out. In Music from a Darkened Theater, you’ll hear many of Hollywood’s great suspense soundtracks. What about the timeless music from one of the greatest love stories ever set to music? We’re talking about Phantom of the Opera. How about music from Fantasia? These are all timeless classics.
