Fitness Class Schedule
Zumba with Osvaldo Parrotta
Zumba Gold is a senior-friendly version of the popular Latin-inspired fitness dance workout. This very popular class is ideal for beginners and those who want an effective - and fun! - lower intensity, low impact workout.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga introduces participants to health-enhancing yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation in a fun, nurturing and safe environment. It has been described as providing “physical lightness, mental calmness and emotional tranquility.” Students can choose to use either mats or chairs. The class, which is appropriate for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), allows students to work according to their own flexibility and strength.
Senior Fitness
This program is designed to help those 55 and better live healthy, active lifestyles while getting fit, having fun and making friends. The class emphasizes muscle range of motion, flexibility and coordination.
Tai Chi for Balance
Tai Chi is enjoyable, easy to learn and provides many health benefits. It is often described as “meditation in motion,” but it might well be called “medication in motion.” The program is a safe and effective system that enhances strength and flexibility, while reducing joint pain and stress. Qigong coordinates body posture and movement, breathing and meditation used for health and relaxation.
Chair Body Stretch
This is a new modality of exercising, missing the essential program of aging backwards, specific stretching, and trying to scan the whole body with different techniques. It is designed for all ages. You will be performing seated and standing. Improves : Mobility, Elasticity, Motor Control, & Balance.
Games & Groups
Participation in all Games & Groups is free, but Kane Membership or Games & Groups Pass is required.
Kane Readers
Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Canasta
Meets Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Canasta is a card game similar to rummy. It is most commonly played with four in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards.
Euchre
Meets Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Mah Jong
Meets Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Join us and play for fun and love of the game.
Poker
Meets Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Play for chips, play for fun, play for the bragging rights! This is high-skill poker. Must be able to play unassisted.
Project Linus
2nd Monday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A non-profit group of quilters, crocheters and knitters who make blankets for children (newborn to 18 years) in need throughout Martin and St. Lucie county. The group always have fabric and yarn to share. Donations of child-friendly fabric and yarn to share among members are accepted. Everyone is welcome! Bridge
Meets Mondays at 1 p.m.
This "just for fun" bridge club is not sanctioned or duplicate bridge. For experienced Bridge players.

Meets Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Knitting Club
Meets Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

Pinochle
Meets Mondays from 9 a.m. to Noon
Widow's Friendship Group
Meets the 4th Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
