Stuart Community Concert Band

John Philip Sousa was known affectionately as the march "king," having written well over 100 marches. His concerts were renowned for performing many marches, but also performing some of the great classics as well.

We will recreate the music heard around the world on his barnstorming concert tour. Among the marches slated to be performed are "The Thunderer," "Semper Fidelis," and "Washington Post March."

We will also be performing "Casey at the Bat," "Carnival of Venice," and "Festive Overture." It promises to be a fun, fast-paced afternoon.
